In her Family Law practice, she has served as counsel for plaintiffs and defendants in divorces, legitimations, custody matters (including child abductions), and child support matters. Ms. Hawkins offers personal service and compassionate client care. Most family law representations occur during very difficult and stressful times in a client’s life. Ms. Hawkins works hard to ensure that the legal process is understood so that clients can be prepared.

Ms. Hawkins also has served as bank, underwriter or bond counsel in five different states. Also, Ms. Hawkins assists organizations in every facet of their financing, including corporate organization, assisting in the issuance of bonds and advising borrowers with respect to their disclosure obligations. Ms. Hawkins has served as counsel for multifamily housing bond issues, health care facilities, schools, hospitals, airports, cities, and counties.
